With over 300 events held in 2009, we’re well underway with arrangements for 2010. 

As a Chamber we’re committed to giving businesses as many opportunities as possible to network and make new contacts.  Feedback shows our events do generate new business, we organise events at various times of the day ensuring everyone has an opportunity to attend. 

As a positive response to growing optimism in Cumbria, we’ve launched Growth 2010!  We’re offering exciting and interesting business support activities to businesses in Cumbria including a major event for Women in Business and a series of Business to Business exhibitions over the year as well as our usual networking events, business lunches, business breakfast forums and business skills seminars.

Women of Cumbria in Business – Thursday 25th February

This not-to-be missed event will feature various sessions presented by expert local speakers, focusing on topics aimed at furthering your business growth and increasing your business skills. 

Themes of the workshops cover issues such as assertiveness, networking, self public relations, confidence, leadership, finance, marketing, technology and many more.

Exhibition stands are also available to showcase business, grow contact bases, demonstrate products or services, and build business brand awareness.
