An independent business, Cumbria Chamber is part of the Cumbrian business community. Lately more widely, we work together with other Chambers in the Northwest as Chambers of Commerce Northwest. We are also a member of the British Chambers of Commerce, the national body for a powerful and influential Network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce across the UK; a Network that directly serves not only its member businesses, but the wider business community.
Representing 100,000 businesses nationwide which together employ more than 5 million employees, the British Chambers of Commerce is The Ultimate Business Network. Every Chamber sits at the very heart of its local community working with businesses to grow and develop by sharing opportunities, knowledge and know-how.
No other organisation makes such a difference to business as the British Chambers of Commerce. High on the BCC’s agenda is helping British business thrive so the BCC works with Government to shape policy affecting businesses, and focuses on key areas of activity including international trade, skills development and business services.
The BCC also partners with leading organisations such as RBS, BT, and Microsoft to deliver the very best services and advice for business.
