How Can I Have My Say?

We are often asked how members can make their voice heard - there are many ways to get your concerns over to us:

• TALKING - We talk to members every day, listening to the issues affecting their business and hearing about their ideas.
• SURVEYS - Cumbria Chamber is regularly invited to respond to local, regional and national government consultation papers on issues that may affect local business.  Your response to our questionnaires helps us pass on your views, and lobby on your behalf.
• EVENTS - We gather your views by holding specific events on important topics, such as on the consultation for the Regional Economic Strategy in 2005.  By attending these events, you can share your opinions with us and also discuss them with other business people. All events are listed in our Events Diary.
• AFFINITY GROUPS - Businesses can meet like-minded businesses through our Affinity Groups, where they can raise issues of concern, discuss views with colleagues and share experiences.
